Once upon a time, over 2500 years ago Kapilavastu, the capital of Sakyas in festive mood.  Mahamaya, the chief queen of King Suddodana, had a dream in which a magnificent white elephant with a lotus in his trunk appeared and entered her side.  The sixty-four brahman soothsayers interpreted the queen's dream that she whould give birth to an illustrious son who would either be a world conqueror or a world renouncer. Here started the new lighting.

The holy journey starts from Patna, the capital of Bihar state.
And the journey ends at the place of last sermon, Vaishali
